It was interesting starting back to work full time. I have been very productive at work and not so much at home. It has been going great until tonight, yes of course I will elaborate. I left work a little late so didn't head home until 4:50 which meant I hit most of the traffic. When I got to daycare Madison informed me that she had been stung in the arm by a bee at school. Panic set in as Ben is terribly allergic and carries an epi pen around in his truck. I called Torey and she thought I should bring in Madison and I agreed. However on our way to the walk in clinic, I called to see what the wait was - 60 minutes - I don't think so. Especially not with a toddler. Then I thought about how long it had been since she had been stung and she hadn't swelled up or had any trouble breathing so I called our good friend/chiropractor, Darrin and ask a nurse. They both said that since so much time had elapsed and because she had only been stung by one bee, she should be fine. It's still been a little scary tonight but she seems fine.
Thus, after the detour to the clinic and then to the grocery store, dinner was on the table at 7:15, then dishes were done, it was 8:30 and both turkeys still needed a bath. One bath and popsicles later, they have green and red mouths and weren't to bed until 9:30. Tonight reminded me why it was nice to be home by 1:30! But this isn't forever and I am getting a lot done at work.
Going to go check on the kiddos and give Madison some Benadryl.
